Rosewood Montessori nurtures the different stages of development a child goes through. Our classroom tools are specially designed to help children fully embrace these special periods of cognitive, social, and spiritual growth. We will also be focusing on Kindergarten readiness for the children, with special emphasis on the 4 and 5-year-olds.

Our small classroom size and low student-to-teacher ratio support your child’s growth. For children, we consider a warm, caring approach a top priority. With a low student-to-teacher ratio, the teacher can take the time needed to care for and guide each child.

Small classes: Big Impact

Why small classes?

Rosewood Montessori nurtures the different stages of development a child goes through. Our classroom tools and materials are specially designed to help children fully embrace these special periods of cognitive, social, and spiritual growth.

Class size is often top of mind when prospective parents call us to learn more about the Rosewood Montessori Preschool program. Compelling evidence demonstrates that reducing class size, particularly for younger children, has a positive effect on students’ achievement overall. Having a class of 8 students allows us more time and space to differentiate our program to each child’s needs while identifying gaps and areas of growth.

We will also be focusing on Kindergarten readiness for the children, with special emphasis on the 4 and 5-year-olds.

For children, we consider a warm, caring approach a top priority. With a low student-to-teacher ratio, the teacher can take the time needed to care for and guide each child.

We follow all the Health, safety, and cleaning guidelines from MSDE/Office of Childcare/MD/CDC.
