I am a former student of Rosewood Montessori, and my name is Bo-ya Liang. Rosewood Montessori impacted my life. Not only does it provide learning resources and fun educational activities, but the teacher is also very remarkable! Mrs. Rehana is a friendly, encouraging, lovely, and hardworking teacher hoping that her students will be able to learn new things. I did learn new things. And not just a little. A lot. In fact, it was a big step for me into the educational “aisle.” If you are looking for a preschool for your child this year, I recommend Rosewood Montessori. There are many reasons why.
I started going to Rosewood Montessori when I was three years old. At first, I was a bit nervous because I didn’t know what school would be like. Eventually, I found it an educational and fun place with activities that inspired me to keep learning. It was not only fun, but I also learned a lot. In my last year at Rosewood, I have already started to learn basic multiplication that students would learn in 3rd grade! I could tell that we were learning at a quick pace during our preschool years, faster than students in other schools. Once I came to Matsunaga Elementary school, I realized how lucky I was to attend such an outstanding preschool. My old classmates at Rosewood and I are very successful now in elementary school because of Mrs. Rehana, one of the best teachers we’ve had.

Mrs. Rehana can find all kinds of different ways to make learning fun, even when we are feeling depressed or frustrated. No matter when, I would always be eager to learn because everything in Rosewood Montessori is entertaining. We learned match tens and ones to wooden cards, spell out words with different colored letters, and more. Because of the small size of the class, we were able to learn and understand the things that Mrs. Rehana was teaching us efficiently. We got time to be creative; afternoon time was drawing and building blocks! After lunch, we have a nap. Even though I barely fell asleep, I could tell it was an important time of the day for my classmates. When I couldn’t fall asleep, Mrs. Rehana would sometimes give me a book to read to make me calmer and slowly fall asleep. She was one of the nicest teachers I have ever met, and it stays the same till today, and it will always be. I love you, Mrs. Rehana!
I highly recommend Rosewood Montessori to your family. I hope your child will have wonderful experiences and happy, beautiful memories of this delightful place like what I did.

My daughter started at Rosewood Montessori this past Fall. I felt much more comfortable in a center atmosphere prior to Rosewood, which I think gives you the best of both worlds (structured and personal). As a teacher, I admire Ms. Rehana’s exceptional ability to encourage growth at each child´s own individual pace in a mixed-age classroom. My child is challenged appropriately and really enjoys her relationships with the older students. One day there was a snow day, and my child exclaimed ¨Oh no! I wanted to go to school!¨ She proceeded to do her show and tell presentation for her stuffed animals instead. Rosewood is definitely worth your consideration.

My daughter was 2 and a half when I first dropped her off at Rosewood Montessori for her first day of school. She had never been away from home before and she never looked back, thanks to Rehana Godil’s compassionate expertise. On weekends she asks, “when do I get to go back to school?” She comes home singing new songs, reciting continents, sounding out words, and describing the life cycle of a butterfly. Arts and crafts (her favorite) show embedded lessons in math, anatomy, and botany – and that’s just this month. She is learning so much, but she thinks that all she’s doing is playing. She couldn’t sleep recently, so excited about a promised “experiment” pending the next day, which ended up being a brilliant and engaging blend of science and art. She’s also so excited about their picnic lunches and outdoor snacks lately, during the good weather. Mrs. Godil is extremely patient, compassionate, intuitive, and kind. Having my daughter with her, at this amazing school, allows me to feel peaceful all day at work. I can’t thank Mrs. Godil enough and I can’t recommend her school highly enough. Mrs. Godil puts so much thought and heart into every day. If you want a cozy Montessori school with a superlative teacher-student ratio and exceptional teachers, you have found the right place. I welcome personal contact for more detailed references.

I am so thankful to have had Miss Rehana as one of his first teacher. My son entered her classroom with little academic ability. And after one year, he is now able to count in relation to quantity two and three digit numbers, read sight words, sound out three plus letter words and read 1st stage books! Miss Rehana has filled my son with a passion for learning, confidence that he can accomplish anything that he puts his mind to and, I believe, has started my son on a great path that can lead him to great places.
Miss Rehana has a passion for education. She was always confident and professional, poised, fun and in control of her classroom. I believe that the really great educators are the ones who have a true love for the profession and I believe Miss Rehana has a true love for teaching.”

Rosewood Montessori is the perfect balance of a preschool structure with the intimacy of an in-home care setting. Our daughter has thrived under Ms. Rehana’s instruction and loves going to school to learn. I never thought my 3.5 year old would be writing letters and beginning to read. We followed Ms. Rehana from a larger school setting and love how the smaller classroom allows her to tailor her attention more specifically for each child.
Thanks!
