About Rosewood Montessori School
Rosewood Montessori School is a warm, home-based preschool serving children ages 2 to 6 in a peaceful, nurturing environment inspired by the teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori.
Our Philosophy
We believe every child is a natural learner. Our program is grounded in the Montessori method, which honors each child’s inner curiosity and developmental readiness. Rather than following a rigid curriculum, children are free to choose their own work from a beautifully prepared environment — building independence, confidence, and a genuine love of learning.
Our Program
We offer a mixed-age classroom (ages 2–6), Monday through Friday, in a home setting designed to feel calm, cozy, and safe. Our small class size of 8 children per session ensures every child receives meaningful one-on-one attention. Children work with authentic Montessori materials across all key developmental areas: practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics, and cultural studies.
Our Teacher
Rosewood Montessori is owner-operated by a trained and passionate Montessori educator. With years of hands-on experience and a deep love for early childhood development, our teacher creates a space where every child is truly seen, celebrated, and given the freedom to grow at their own beautiful pace.
Why a Home-Based School?
A home environment naturally provides the warmth, intimacy, and calm that young children thrive in. Our class size of 8:2 (children to teachers) is far below the typical preschool ratio, meaning your child receives consistent, attentive guidance every day. Many families find that children settle in quickly, develop strong bonds, and flourish in the comfort of a home-based Montessori setting.
