About Rosewood Montessori School
Rosewood Montessori School is a warm, home-based preschool serving children ages 2 to 6 in a peaceful, nurturing environment inspired by the teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori.
Our Philosophy
At our school, we believe that children thrive through consistency, connection, and a nurturing learning environment. Remaining with the same teacher and classmates for three years creates a strong sense of trust, belonging, and emotional security that can have a lasting impact on a child’s life.
We believe children absorb their environment like a sponge. By the third year, we often see remarkable growth — children become well-rounded, independent, confident learners with strong self-esteem, social skills, and a genuine love for learning.
Our Program
With over 25 years of experience working with children, our program offers a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child is truly known, valued, and supported. Children remain with the same teacher and learning community for three years, allowing strong relationships, trust, and confidence to develop over time. We focus on the whole child — supporting academic, social, emotional, and creative growth — while incorporating art, music, and movement into our daily routine to make learning joyful and meaningful. Our goal is to help children grow into confident, independent, and well-rounded learners with a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
About me
Teaching young children is not only my profession but my passion. With over 25 years of experience working with children, I am dedicated to creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn.
I have a deep love for art, music, and movement, and I intentionally incorporate these experiences into our daily classroom life. Through creativity, hands-on activities, songs, and movement, I strive to make learning joyful, meaningful, and memorable for every child.
Why a Home-Based School?
A home-based school offers a warm, family-like environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home while learning. In this close-knit setting, children benefit from a smaller group size with more one-to-one attention, which is especially important in early childhood education for building strong foundations. Each child receives personalized care, stronger relationships with their teacher, and a calm atmosphere that supports focused learning and emotional growth. It allows learning to feel natural, joyful, and deeply connected to everyday life.
